FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 1, 2010 Hal Hays Construction, Inc. Awarded Design Build P-177 MV-22 Wash Rack at MCAS MiramarRiverside, California-April 1, 2010-Hal Hays Construction, Inc. (HHCI) was awarded the Design Build P-177 MV-22 Wash Rack project at MCAS Miramar. The contract was procured under the HUBZone Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Southwest. The project consists of design, construction, procurement, and installation services for the design and build of a new outdoor Portland cement nonskid aircraft wash rack facility with drains and a utilities building to support the MV-22 aircraft. The wash rack will allow safe and efficient washing of two MV-22 aircraft in support of four squadrons of MV-22 for a total of 48 aircraft. The utilities building will house detergent/metering equipment, an air compressor for engine washes, a detergent mixing tank, a water heater, utility controls and a secure storage for housing cleaning equipment. ________________________________ HAL HAYS CONSTRUCTION, INC.
