(HHCI) was selected by the Small Business Administration as the 2010 California State Small Business Person of the Year. Mr. Hays was recognized at the National Small Business Week celebration in Washington, D.C. 2009 Recipient of US Small Business Administration Administrator's Award for ExcellenceHHCI earned selection by the US Small Business Administration for the Administrator's Award for Excellence in the Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year category in recognition of HHCI's outstanding contribution and service to the nation by a small business in satisfying the needs of the Federal procurement system.
Senate District #31-Senator Bob Dutton Small Business Award  Hal Hays, CEO/President, earned selection by Senator Bob Dutton for Senate District 31’s Small Business Award. This award honors small businesses that are selected directly by their state senator for recognition. Over seventy legislators participate in recognizing small businesses for their accomplishments and to commemorate California Small Business Day.
Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards Program In 2006, Hal Hays, President/CEO earned selection under the General Entrepreneur category as an individual who has achieved significant entrepreneurial success through creativity, innovation, risk taking and the relentless pursuit of opportunity.
