Building 1591 Dental Clinic Renovations Project - $99,990.00

The Building 1591 Dental Clinic Renovation project at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, CA consisted of patching, prepping, texture and painting of 14,000 SF of wall surface in hallways and office space, and the replacement of 700SY of carpet and 500SY of vinyl.

Additional work features included:

Control measures, hazardous material disposal and phasing during normal operating hours of the clinic.

Results Achieved:

  • Improved the appearance of the medical facility interiors

Refurbish the Pediatrics and Family Practice Departments in Building H-100 - $1,163,820.00

This project took place at the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in Oceanside, CA. The Pediatrics wing consisted of asbestos abatement and removal, prep, painting and texture in various areas, replacing lighting, modifying HVAC systems demolition and building of a new room.

The project for the Family Practice wing consisted of asbestos abatement and removal, prepping, patching, texture and painting of various areas, demolition, plumbing, tile, carpets, electrical, break room, cabinets, toilets, and sinks.

Additional work features included:

Installing child-friendly flooring, creating new rooms within the facility, and replacing counters, sinks, and plumbing, installation of carpet and demolition and renovations of 9 public restrooms.

Results Achieved:

  • Renovated interiors and modernized the facility to improve service for patients
  • Successfully worked in occupied and operational hospital setting
  • Successful implementation of infectious control measures

Repair and Alterations of Dental Clinic Project - $4,735,625.00

The repair and alterations of the Shuttleworth Dental Clinic at the Fort Irwin National Training Center in Fort Irwin, CA, consists of the addition of 10 dental treatment rooms, construction of additional oral surgery suites, central sterilization facilities and administrative offices. The building addition included the construction of a new oral surgery and administrative office suite and the alteration area includes demolition and reconstruction of the existing surgery suite to a treatment room

Additional work features included:

Upgrading the fire/life safety devices in the existing building, increasing or replacing the existing HVAC system, and updating or increasing critical infrastructure and regulatory compliance items to comply with AT/FP standards, and construction of expanded parking lots and storm water channels.

  • Provided new and modernized amenities
  • Increased efficiency, functionality and capacity for medical building

Bldg 1591 Dental Clinic Roof Repair Project - $339,169.00

The Building 1591 Dental Clinic Roof Repair project at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center consisted of roof repairs, roof maintenance, and tile replacement in the office, hallways, lobby and waiting area. The roof repairs consisted of mechanically fastening new polyisol roof insulation and CDX plywood on top of the new insulation, installing a new membrane, and new walk pads.

Additional work features included:

The roof maintenance tasks consisted of removing old sealant at top of pipes, prime and re-seal pipes, and other roof penetrations, checking coping seals, cleaning debris off of the roof, and checking outside seams. Ceiling tile replacement included removing and replacing 344 damaged ceiling tiles in the Branch Dental Clinic.

Results Achieved:

  • Repair and modernization of the Dental Clinic roof
  • Created greater weather protection for the facility
