Eagle Canyon Dam & Debris Basin

HHCI served as a prime contractor to the Riverside County Flood Control District to build a major new earthen dam, new levee and floodwalls, detention/debris basin, channels and underground storm drains to provide flood detention and flood hazard mitigation for Cathedral City.

Results

  • HHCI provided extensive coordination with Cities, Desert Water Agency, State Dam Authority, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, US Army Corps of Engineers, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon.
  • HHCI received an OUTSTANDING performance evaluation from the customer and earned 2016 ASCE Project of the Year.
