Moreno Valley, CA – March 6, 2019: Career Day at La Jolla Elementary School
On February 22, 2019, Hal Hays Construction Inc, (HHCI) was honored to participate in the 4th annual Career Day, hosted by La Jolla Elementary School in Moreno Valley, CA. This event allowed the students to interact with speakers from a variety of professions such as: construction project manager, air traffic controller, aircraft assembler, ambulance/EMTs, CHP, lawyer, fire department, school counselor, nurse, physical therapist, art director, social worker, US Army, and welding.
HHCI’s Jason Flowers was proud to share his experience as a Project Manager and explore the exciting opportunities in the Construction Industry. Approximately 750 students, Grades Tk to 5th grade participated in this fun-filled event.
Board President Jesus Holguin and Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora visited the event. “Our mission is to prepare students for college and careers,” said Board President Jesus Holguin, “Today’s Career Day at La Jolla Elementary School is important as we expose students to a variety of options they will have in their futures.”
