Riverside, CA – January 21, 2016 – In step with HHCI’s corporate commitment to support the communities where we do business and where there is great need, HHCI launched a special program for Native American students in support of their education, career, and personal development. HHCI’s Mentoring Program offers a hands-on, technical experience for qualified Sherman Indian High School students who are interested in learning about the Construction industry.
The 6-week mentorship program, conducted at our Corporate Office, is available in the following departments:
- Estimating
- Accounting/Finance
- Project Engineering
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Project Management
HHCI’s program is project-based, to include job shadowing and observational opportunities in various departments. Each student will gain practical work experience, explore a potential career path, form professional contacts, develop new skills, and gain confidence in their abilities in the workplace.
Team HHCI looks forward to welcoming its first group of students in 1Q 2016!
