HHCI Awarded Beale AFB Temporary Lodging Facility Project!
Riverside, CA – March 1, 2016 – The Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded Hal Hays Construction, Inc. a project for the construction of new Temporary Lodging Facilities at Beale AFB, CA, comprised of 4 facilities and a total of 34 units. The government accepted HHCI’s price of $15,970,821.
The new Beale Temporary Lodging Facility, part of the Air Force Inn program’s current 27,000 rooms at 89 worldwide locations, will provide convenient lodging at affordable rates for Active Duty, Reserve, Guard and retired military members, their family members, and DOD civilian staff.
Beale AFB Temporary Facilities Project Key Highlights
This key project encompasses the following work areas:
- Construction of 4 one-story Temporary Lodging Facility buildings:
- Two facilities encompass 8 units each, a total of 16 units
- One facility includes 9 units
- One facility includes 7 units and 2 accessible units
- Some units include pet-friendly
- Support areas include staff restrooms, housekeeping and laundry, linen storage, break room, bulk storage, janitor/supply closet, and mechanical, electrical, and communication rooms.
- Parking lots, Sidewalks and Landscaping
- Playground area
